UGDC’s Senior Management
Mr. Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha is the Founder of UGDC, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & member of UGDC board . He has vast experience in Gas transport and finalizing supply agreements with different multinational companies.
He has served in advisory roles with various government organizations, contributing to the formulation of Gas network codes, gas shortage mitigation plans, Third Party Access rules, which has opened doors for Private sector to do business in Pakistan & reducing Financial burden on GOP.. Additionally, he has been an active member of legal framework committees of MPNR and OGRA.
He has held the position of Central Chairman of All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) several times. The LNG for CNG initiative is his brainchild, and he has motivated the association team to take up this challenge. He has also served as an Executive Member of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI) numerous times, heading several committees and playing a significant role in the sustainable growth of Pakistan’s gas sector.
Mr Nauman Mahmood is FCA , a renowened Chartetered Accountant & A Co- Founder OF UGDC. He is Ex Managing Partner of RSM Avais Hyder Liaqat Nauman Chartered Accounts & brings more than 25 Years of expertise in Financial Planning & management ensuring sound Financial strategies for International & local organization’s.
Mr. Capt (Retd) Raja Shuja Anwar, with 28 years of gas market expertise, specializes in SNGPL affairs, bringing valuable insights to the industry.
Mr. Sohail Gulzar, an ex-DMD of SNGPL, with hands on operational experience of laying more than one lakh kilometer long transmission lines, controlling UfG by volumes and ensuring gas supply to new industrial zones.
Mr. Saeed Ahmed Larik, former DMD of SSGC, gains 37 years of expertise in natural gas purification, transmission, and distribution at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), showcasing outstanding leadership in organizational excellence and operations optimization.
Mr. Zubair Munir, Head of Retail Sales is an expert in Sales & Marketing with more than two decades of Branding, Development & Expansion of Shell, Retail network, equipping the network with most modern gadgets. He has hands on experience for the Energy needs of Gas consumers & bringing valuable insights to the table.
