Network & Security Engineer

Location: Islamabad
Experience Required: 2-5 years

Job Description: UGDC requires a Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network infrastructure and security solutions
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Implement and manage VPN, IDS/IPS tools and security protocols
  • Monitor network performance and security threats
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Ensure network availability and disaster recovery planning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Network design and troubleshooting
  • Strong expertise in Firewall, VPN setup, IDS/IPS tools
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices
  • Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or similar) preferred
