Mr. Salahuddin Sahi

Chaudhry Salahuddin is a legal and business professional, currently working as the Secretary to the Board of Directors at Universal Gas Distribution Company (UGDC). He has a strong academic grounding in law, with an LLB from Punjab University, and is a member of the Islamabad Bar Council since 1992. With over three decades of experience, he entered energy sector in 2006 with his own Gas & CNG related business and has since then played an instrumental role in shaping the future course and visibility of the CNG industry in Pakistan by representing the sector and UGDC in several international energy forums.
His influence ripples through his involvement in key associations; he has served in top positions in the All Pakistan CNG Association, was on the representation to the gas industry in the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and is also a member of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Besides the energy sector, he is also the owner of Fortress Events Complex Islamabad, one of the prime large corporate and public events venues of Islamabad. At present, he applies his extensive legal and business acumen to the position of Secretary to the Board of Directors at UGDC.
